About the event
Join the NPT for Nature Group for a guided evening walk exploring the wildlife of Pant y Sais Fen and the Tennant Canal.
Led by ecologist Di Clark (Koru Ecology Associates), this event will focus on two fascinating species groups closely connected to wetland and waterways: bats and otters. Using bat detectors, we’ll listen for bats as they hunt over the water and surrounding habitats, while also learning how to spot signs of otter activity along the canal and fen.
This guided walk offers a chance to learn more about these elusive animals, the habitats they depend on, and the importance of wetlands and canals for wildlife.
Booking required.
The meeting point for this walk is the bridge over the canal on the B4290 at Jersey Marine (NGR SS 71180 93904, W3W ///blunders.unearthly.handbag). Parking is available on nearby residential streets.
