About the event

NPT For Nature: INCC Upland Water Vole Project

Join us for an online talk from the Initiative for Nature Conservation Cymru (INCC) team as they share insights from their Upland Water Vole Project. This session will explore water vole ecology, the threats they face, and ongoing conservation efforts, with a special focus on how upland populations differ from those in traditional lowland habitats. You’ll also hear about INCC’s community engagement work, fascinating research into genetic relatedness and dispersal (including their innovative use of edible glitter!), and enjoy a short animation bringing the upland water vole story to life. We will also hear about the latest updates on American mink eradication efforts in Wales and how you can get involved with the project.

Please RSVP to receive the meeting link via email.
