About the event

Join the NPT for Nature Group for a fascinating evening exploring Tonna Woodland after dark.

Led by experienced ecologists Vaughn Matthews and Diana Clark, this guided bat walk and moth trapping event offers a chance to discover the hidden nightlife of the woods. Using bat detectors and moth traps, we’ll listen out for hunting bats and take a closer look at the incredible variety of moths that emerge after sunset.

Suitable for adults and families, this is a great opportunity to learn more about nocturnal wildlife and the importance of woodlands for bats and insects.
