Tickets

  • Horseshoe Bat Walk 8pm-9:30pm

The Horseshoe Bat Walk is the shortest, most accessible and family-friendly option. We will be walking slowly for approximately 1-1.5 km on surfaced paths to see the Horseshoe Bats emerging. We are also likely to see Common and Soprano Pipistrelles and Noctule bats on the way!

    £0.00

    Sold Out
  • Daubenton Bat Walk 8pm-10pm

The Daubenton Bat Walk is approximately 1-1.5 km mostly on surfaced paths around the castle and to one of the ponds where we are likely to see a good display of Daubenton's bats foraging over the water. We are also likely to see Common and Soprano Pipistrelles and Noctule bats on the way! The paths are mostly surfaced and good underfoot, but this walk includes more hill walking and please be aware that we will be next to open water.

  • Noctule Bat Walk 8pm-10pm

The Noctule Bat Walk is approximately 2.5 km around Margam Country Park on a mix of surfaced and non-surfaced paths, some of which can be rough underfoot. We will be hoping to see Noctule and Daubenton's bats foraging over Furzemill Pond. We are also likely to see Common and Soprano Pipistrelle bats on the way! This walk includes hill walking and will be slightly faster paced. Please be aware that we will be next to open water for some of the walk.
