About the event
Designed for beginners, these friendly and informal sessions will help you learn how to identify some of the beautiful wildflowers found in our local grasslands. We'll explore basic plant anatomy, discover the key features used in identification, and build confidence using simple field techniques. For those keen to take things a step further, we may even venture into identifying a few grass species.
Each participant will receive a plant identification guide to support their learning and continue their wildflower journey beyond the session.
The training will be led by Sam Braine and Emma Ball, ecological consultants with Plantlife, who bring a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm for grassland plants and conservation.
