About the event
Effective habitat management is key to conserving reptile populations and ensuring suitable conditions for basking, breeding, foraging, and shelter. In this session, we will examine the habitat needs of the UK's reptile species and explore management approaches for grassland, heathland, coastal, and woodland-edge habitats. We will discuss how to create and maintain habitat mosaics, enhance connectivity, and balance land management activities with reptile conservation objectives.
