Healthy habitats are essential for maintaining and enhancing amphibian populations. In this session, we will explore the habitat requirements of the UK's amphibian species and discuss practical management techniques for ponds, terrestrial habitats, and habitat networks. We will look at how habitat management can improve breeding success, support population resilience, and strengthen connectivity across the landscape, helping amphibians to thrive in a changing environment.
