Join the NPT for Nature Group for a fascinating evening exploring the wildlife of Shelone Woods after dark.
Led by ecologists Vaughn Matthews and Diana Clark, this guided bat walk and moth trapping event offers a chance to discover the hidden nightlife of the woodland. Using bat detectors, we'll listen for bats as they hunt through the trees, while light traps will reveal the remarkable variety of moths that become active after sunset.
Whether you're new to wildlife watching or a seasoned nature enthusiast, this is a great opportunity to experience the wonders of nocturnal wildlife and learn more about the species that call Shelone Woods home.
