About the event
Join us at Aberavon Seafront during National Marine Week for a celebration of Neath Port Talbot’s incredible coastline and marine environment. Discover the wildlife, habitats and organisations working to protect our shores through a day packed with free family activities, interactive exhibits and live entertainment!
Explore exhibition stands, take part in the Seashore Explorer Trail, enjoy storytelling sessions, seaside crafts, face painting, and put your artistic skills to the test in the Sand Sculpture Competition. Visit the RNLI Lifeboat Station, try your hand at sea watching, and learn more about the fascinating wildlife that can be found along our coast.
With live music, delicious food stalls and activities for all ages, Festival of the Sea is the perfect opportunity to celebrate National Marine Week, explore your local coastline, and connect with the sea right on your doorstep. Come along and discover the wonders of Swansea Bay and the NPT coastline!
