About the event

Join the NPT for Nature Group for an evening bat walk at Maerdy Playing Fields.

Led by ecologist Diana Clark, this guided walk offers a chance to discover the fascinating world of bats and learn about the species found locally. Using bat detectors, we'll listen to bats as they emerge at dusk to feed, while learning about their behaviour, ecology, and the importance of habitats such as grassland, hedgerows and woodland edges.

Whether you're a wildlife enthusiast or simply curious about the creatures that come alive after sunset, this is a great opportunity to experience nature from a different perspective.

The meeting point and parking details can be found on your confirmation email. Please check your junk/spam folder.

This event is funded by the Welsh Government Local Places for Nature Fund.
