About the event
Join the NPT for Nature group for a guided evening bat walk along Swansea Canal, exploring the hidden world of its nocturnal wildlife.
Led by ecologist Di Clark (Koru Ecology Associates), this event will focus on one of the canal’s most fascinating night-time residents: bats. Using bat detectors, we’ll listen for their calls as they hunt over the water and surrounding habitats, while learning about the species that use the canal corridor.
This guided walk offers a chance to discover these elusive animals, the habitats they depend on, and the importance of waterways like Swansea Canal for supporting local wildlife.
Booking required.
