Balsam Blitz and Litter Pick with West Wales Rivers Trust

Meet at the West Wales Rivers Trust stand by New Pond. West Wales Rivers Trust are working with the park to tackle the invasive, non-native species along its waterways. Come along and help pull the Himalayan balsam and take part with the litter pick in Margam Country Park.

About the event
Meet at the West Wales Rivers Trust stand by New Pond.
West Wales Rivers Trust are working with the park to tackle the invasive, non-native species along its waterways. Come along and help pull the Himalayan balsam and take part with the litter pick in Margam Country Park.
There will be frequent pond/river dipping sessions taking place throughout the day, advertised at the stand between New Pond and the Adventure Playground.
Please wear sturdy footwear and dress for the weather. Gloves will be provided.
Also taking place at 11.30am on this day - come along to a guided river nature walk which will depart from the West Wales Rivers Trust stand at 11.30am and will take approximately one to one and a half hours.
